Hi guys

Ive purchased two bailey dump valves for my fd and fitted them to my standard engine. I have the orginal air box etc.

The problem i have is that the second dump valve does not seem to be working, ie i cant hear it!

Any ideas please as to what this could be?

Thanks

Fletch

The FD only has one conventional dump valve (that makes the characteristic woosh you\'re listening out for). The other one is a charge relief valve that vents boost pressure produced by the secondary turbo during pre-spool.

fit the original relief valve  back on its the one towards the rear!
complete wankel :god

did you do a straight swap? do you have pics of what you have done?
the one closest to the air box is the dump valve

thanks guys, but why fit the relief valve back on?

fletch

donta have pics, just fitted them as instructions indicated!

got the same prob, fitted two blitz units but didnt make sound louder...instead causes turbo stall as i guess the second bov is not adjusted properly...im gonna put my original denso recirculating unit back on...

Only one of the denso units is a dump valve / BOV, this is the one closest to the air box, the second one is something to do with the prespool on the second turbo, this is a vent which releases the pressure generated by the second turbo before the butterfly opens at 4500rpm allowing the boost from both turbos in to the plenum!!
