Got the RX8 today

It\'s still sinking in but I collected my RX8 from Mazda today.

It is superb to look at and to drive with a very solid sure feel to it. Really great!!
Still getting used to the size of it as I\'m more used to driving RX7\'s and it seems a lot bigger.

Going to be a lot a people looking at you and your car for some time (although I suppose you are use to it with the RX-7 )

It\'s going to take me a little while to get used to it but the whole car just oozes quality. There are some great touches like the downlights on the under side of the door mirrors that illuminate when you unlock the car with the remote key.
The Bose stereo is superb quality and the whole interior feels more German than Japanese.

What amazes me is that Mazda dont need to do anything to the car for 12.5K, not even an oil change and it doesn\'t need any running in! They do recommend that you check the oil level every other time you fill up with petrol and they include a small can of 5/30 oil, 1 litre I think.

Also I\'ve got the front airdam and side skirts in ready to be painted and fitted and the number plate will be changed to
RX53RXS.

I\'ll keep you posted as I discover more.
