I get about 195miles to the tank but most of my driving is in trafic with quite a few lunges at the £££pedal.
Duno what that equates to in mpg... if someone would be kind enugh to do the sums for me :P

mine cost me 15 to get from silverstone to home.....about 120 miles.

The day i picked up my RX after having a huge street port by tim and mapping by Reworx. I made a journey of 309.1 miles (re:worx to home) on 1 full tank of fuel.  This included having a very spirited \'play\' with a 350Z for the last 30 - 40 miles.

The rest of the journey was a steady drive, following my better half in her 1.1 106, so was quite restrained, but when i saw the 350Z i just couldn\'t resist, just kept thinking "kill kill kill kill....." as you do lol :D

How about 3 laps of the ring, before needing to fill up!!!!

and because of the swirl pot it takes just less than 80 litres to fill!!!

It sounds as though having a good map is the key to both good power and MPG :)

I manage to get around 240ish on a motorway journey and I\'m almost standard.

DC-TYPER

i have found, on 98 ron. my car is more economical at 80 - 100mph!!!

(not that i break the speed limit of course)

anthony

i get about 300 or so to the tank at £70

RAW

no more than 300km for me whatever that works out as-thats motorway driving and playing on the back roads. i find it impossible to drive gently though!

if i put £20 of optimax which is basically 20 litres i get about 40 miles!  i thought my old one was bad but its was exactly the same!

You\'re getting about 9mpg..............I get that kind of mpg when I do lots of short journeys but on long journeys I can double that figure.
FD or not FD? that is the question.

I get about the same local/town driving :(

Thor dyno day i used a full tank to get down to Thor :p

Quote from: AdriansturgessOne thing that strikes me about this thread is how imprecise everyone is. To monitor mpg properly you have to keep track of mileage and litres of fuel over a reasonable period of time and then do the calculation. Mind you I\'m just as bad..... an FD is so poor on fuel consumption that it\'s better not to know the awful truth - so people come up with vague statements like \' I get 200 miles to a tankfull\' In reality it is just a way of avoiding working out exactly how bad that really is..... :2Confused  :2eek  :Hammer

also it helps if you always fill the tank full and then work it out ( i managed to get 62 MPG out the rex on the way back from RSIII - it had done 240 miles so i just put £15 to get me home !! - so 240 for £15 - bargain !! LOL :D :D :D )

OK .. my rover diesel has averaged 44.58 MPG in the last 9000-12000 miles :D hows that ???? :D :D :D

im trying to work out what the rex is doing - but its looking about 15.2 over the last 3 fill ups ??
