Guys,

Started off removing the steering wheel, plus column easily. Removed the gear stick surround easy.

Trying to get the Instrument cluster piece of plastic out, I have removed the screw from the bottom and also the side but cant pull the instrument panel out, it seems to be attached from the top piece of plastic.

How do I get this off ? Have tried pulling, raising etc but bloomin thing isnt coming off ?

Anyone able to help before I end up doing something stupid ?

Cheers,
Gareth

These do pull out - pull straight towards you. However, after all this time the clips loose their spring, and the plastic becomes brittle, so it is possible that the plastic will shatter: this is what happened to mine.

The main problem is that the clips will have lost their springyness, and that\'s whats causing your problem in removing it.

Gareth give me a call  it\'s easier to explain via phone than to type it all out as I don\'t have much time.

Cheers for your help Brian, Damn it was difficult getting the top dome shaped cowl off.

Finally got it off though and am about halfway through getting the main dash off before it started to rain and had to put the car away.

Not the easiest job in the world !!

Fingers crossed this will be the last thing I have to do for a while, the car just doesnt want me to save lol
