I\'ve not posted for a while due to my FD blowing up a couple of months into ownership.....

whilst i\'m rebuilding it i\'ve decided to treat myself to some new wheels  :chat

i\'ve near enough set my heart on a set of..... KEI D1 wheels with the hollow spokes and was just wondering if anyone else is running these or any other KEI wheels and how do they find them??

i\'ve been advised to go for:

18" x 8.5" ET 32 front
18" x 9.5" ET 35 rear

any comments on these sizes and offsets?

chris@yoco

to what i have read on here that offset is wrong shoud be around 45-50 on a fd

with the wheels my m8 has these and they look very nice indeed

jonny

apparently these offsets will allow the outer face of the wheels to sit flush with the arches rather than sit inside them slighlty?

do you have any pics of the wheels on your mates car?

Mr J.T

only prob with bang on flush is that once you go over somethin if your lowered then you ARE gonna hit an damage the arches

Chris, those higher offsets are for the 16\'s and maybe some 17\'s. 18\'s require less of an offset.

a pic would be good cheers, i\'ve only found 2 cars with them on so far. both skylines.........

jonny

slightly off topic.... what bonnet have you got? looks like the one on the racing hart RX7?

Pointman

Glad you like them  :cheers

I don`t know what bonnet the Racing Hart 7 has, but mine is a Chargespeed Carbon Fibre one.

(A better picture of the bonnet, but not mine)

shafster

those offsets sound fine to me. next week im putting on some mad rims on mine with extreme offsets

19x8.5 front offset 21
19x9.5 rear offset 23

they will stick way past the arches.... but hey, it\'s a show car :D
