Mr J.T

bump to this, might try yellow stuff

Avoid green stuff, yellow stuff, red stuff on jap spec cars, they can not handle the abuse. Search for threads on here if you want to know more. Am pretty happy with our Hawk HP+ pads, they\'re pretty cheap at £50 for the front set and apart from letting out a load of brake dust they provide good bite arn\'t that easy to fade. If you want to go for a slightly uprated pad over std that doesn\'t leave much dust on your rims go for the black diamond ones, had them on the red car and they were still pretty good :)

I\'ll second that got Hawks all round and although the dust is a nightmare, they are very good compared to standard.

Hawks+ were very good, but as mentioned wicked brake dust!!

Hows about Mintex? The Supra has been fitted with them and they work pretty well but its only a 3L NA

If you go Hawks whats the best Ft\'s and Backs for Fast road and becouse i usaly use a diffrent set for the Track whats the best Track set up too?

In my T2 i used to use Hp+\'s all round, is it the same with an FD?

HPS rear and HPPlus front in stockish car with sensible driving, hard driving would use HPPlus rear and Black on front, if track days are your bag then HPPlus rears and Blues or HT10\'s front, really depends how agressive you are with the brakes. Ive seen very fast drivers which go very easy on the brakes and some are very heavy, just depends on your driving style.

I have Hawk Blues all round which I bought from Rotary Arts. Ive taken them round Brands 40mins with no stopping and they didn\'t wear. They are very good

I had Hawk HP+ and I\'ve got to say I wasn\'t that impressed with them. Pretty good bite, but didn\'t take much to fade.

I have since replaced them with Ferodo DS2500\'s and the difference is amazing. They take a bit longer to warm up, but once there is a bit of heat in them they are incredible, and haven\'t faded once.

Just ordered some Black Diamonds from Clive, so ill let you know what they are like when received and tried

Glad your still pleased with them.

HP+ are good street pads but would not recommend for track use, Hawk have better pads for Track, Blues, Blacks, HT10\'s with some new oads to.
