Yep, were racing at Silverstone. 20th May.
Stowe circuit.
Should be fun. Never been there before and the might not want me back after the noise it makes

Its the small Stowe circuit. But thats Ok. Trying to win championship.
Ive just heard that the Mk2 escort that I am up against has had some investment in the form of different final drive. Apparently he was a bit shocked at the acceleration of the Rx
The car is all ready to go except the rear box which is somewhere between me and WGT. Its getting repacked as it was a little loud. Appparently.
Also in any spare time I am trying to build a front spliter. Its being done with 6mm ply as its all I had lying around.
Also looking into putting a flat undercarrige and big rear defuser on to try and help getting it through the air a bit faster.

Pesky Escorts
Another one that I,ve never been up against before was thereand I got beaten by 2 tenths of a second. No excuses, it was my fault.
Still managed to get 10 points as he was not championship registered.
However the day was not without drama.
The fuel pipe came loose on the first run  :2eek and dumped petrol all over the exhaust and the water pump has packed up.
next event is Lydden Hill in 2 weeks

Might have fixed the water pump.
Looks like it was the gasket.
