uprated spark nplugs HELP

hi

just reveived some b10egv plugs

they have the normal style tip on the end.  is this ok or are they the wrong type

the ones i have at the moment are flat on the bottom and have a cross cut in to them

b10 egv will fit fine, if you can find a socket to get them in with!
