Hi  can i just put in a large intercooler and not have to change anything else. The car is standerd but am thinking of doing some mods.

Well matey, if the car is standard: I would start with induction and exhaust mods. You can run these safe on the stock ecu. Then get an apexi ecu, and have the car mapped, with an increase in boost. This will give you a healthy increase in BHP. Then I would start looking at the intercooler, but with this mod usually sees the stock injectors reaching 100% duty, so they would need to changed along with the stock fuel pump to run it safely, and so on, and so on :mmmm

Be carfull mate, I did the same thing, it is possible to do, but you loose too many benifits trying to fit a universal one, like increased pipe length so more lag, more bends so worse flow etc. In the end I decided against it an sold the IC in favour of another one that was better made to suit. It\'s a little unorthodox, as the normal method is to stand the rad up an feed the pipes over an around, but I didn\'t want the hastle of that.

If you want to email me I\'ll send you pictures of how far I got, problems associated an what I did in the end.

Good luck

Mark
