prefix on chassis no

hi, i was just wondering what the prefix on the chassis number meant, mine is E-FD3S-108***, does the E mean anything. i did ask about my model type on the technical thread but didnt have any replies, maybe posted in the wrong section but any help with my other q\'s on this thread would be greatly appreciated.

Mine doesn\'t have an E i don\'t think?

Mines FD3S100-320. never seen one with a E in it. FD3S is the model and i guess the rest is the build number
