What no gears !

You can tell it\'s holiday season again - my car seems to like to spend it at Roteknics, so in true soon to be a bank holiday style, my clutch has decided it needs to be replaced !  :Grrr

I was on my way home and was just coming off the A33 after a spirited run, when I went to shift down - and poo - suddenly no gears  :2Confused

Managed to find 3rd after attempting to stamp the foot right down to part what remained of the old \'uprated\' clutch.  Now the thing is there seemed to be no warning of this impending misfortune - I had no idea this was going to happen - otherwise I would of headed straight for Grazely rather than forking out the £85 quid for a tow

Had to be rescued by the better half in the trusty old Rover !

Anyone ever had a clutch go so suddenly ? :3Confused
