I supose that would mean i wouldn\'t be able to adjust the seat if it did fit.

Bear in mind the seat belt buckle receiver is attached to the seat itself so you wont be able to fasten your intertia seat belt, unless of course you have harnesses.

Might be possible...

As the seat unbolts from the subframes- so swapping the subframes should get round the seatbelt issues, although the seat itself is shaped for the receiver to be on the correct side. From memory think you can get round this....

Also the recliner control will end up the wrong side.

I think the best thing to do is to try it.  I can;t really afford to buy or repare the drivers seat and its really doing my back in as it is.

Hi Mate.
Firstly the seats are fitted around the centre tunnel, two totally different shapes.I know this for sure, because i had my drivers seat out for repair and i borrowed my mates passenger seat. Fitted just on the drivers side, very strange driving position plus the door jammed against the seat making it very difficult to shut. Also the seat tilt lever will be on the wrong side. Also problems with seat belt fastener and sub frame.
If your just repairing your drivers seat with the intention of putting it back in its right position, and can put up with a bad driving postion and no seat belt then try it.If you were planning a permanant swap then please don\'t waste your time.Hope this helps.
Cheers
