Apexi Filters/Standard Box

I fitted Twin Apexi Filters, put in some heat shielding and extra ducting, air temperature was at highest 58 degrees, too high i think so put back standard air filter box to see what the difference in temps would. ( have power fc but did not check on standard box before i fitted apexi\'s) air temp with standard box 50 degrees still to hot, apexi not mapped yet,, so im not sure what conclusions i have come to, any suggestions please.
