Yep Glenn those are nice videos saw them a while ago - would be interesting to see the production version (Euro spec) doing the same thing ....  but you can see how well it eats corners though!


Especially like the cut away rotary engine shot in the yellow rx8 video

I don\'t think the rx8 is any slouch by any means but also I don\'t quite know what to make of the vid, as I have not even seen skybuses, nsx, scooby doo\'s, etc do this to a rx7 nevermind something that is significantly slower ?? Handling on the rx8 seems superb but I do wonder how hard the rx7 driver was trying considering the the rx7 is definitely the fast car. I guess i\'m, just biased.

As it was done in the US, they didnt get the 280BHP version FD I think they got the same as the UK models. Will have to check!

The only car I have seen on video give an FD a hard time was a V-Spec R34 Skybus. OK this was held up for the first couple of laps, got past on the third then started taking major chunks out of the FD\'s lead.

i saw that vid and when you look at the 2 cars i doubt the skybus would have enough to get past the rx.

also the skybusses engine was developing a fault it just couldnt keep up with the rorories pace:D
