newbie rear spoiler question

going to view 1996 type r according to garage
confused as it has no rear spoiler i thought only type r2 had no rear spoiler
clarification needed

Rather confused by the discription, only non spoilered cars are touring not R1 /2[R1 was early 92 -3, R2 94-5]. If you go for a look check out the info badge on the drivers door shut, it should tell you there. Hth

I have a Type r with no rear spoiler and a flush bootlid.  As with yours it may have been removed by the previous owner?  As John says check the info badge and make sure you have 2 oilcoolers.
