Have been getting away with a de-cat pipe on a \'96 for a couple of years now, as the place I go doesnt list a \'96 so I get the \'95 non-cat test.

Now I hear everywhere is being computerised so guessing them days are coming to an end, so will be putting the cat on come mot time.

My question is, will the cat work ok (bearing in mind this is just for emissions test) without the airpump, or will I need to leave that on.

One of my jobs over the winter was to remove this, but if I cant pass the mot without it guess it will have to stay :(

not sure but the main thing is the mot certificate is computer generated not hand written unlikely that anything else is otherwise just chuck the probe up a car with a cat to do the emmissions test..check with dave at thames valley mot what the test rules are
