im currentyly lookin to sell my wrx and get a rx7
i love the look of the cars and there so rare, and performance is great even from standard.
would love to know some more info on the cars, i know there expensive to run.
how often do you service them, are parts that expensive?
should i look for one with recent engine change?
any info received is greatly appreciated,

Hi ,

For anywhere between 7-10K you can get a rx with a rebuilt engine and possibly a single turbo version also, depending on what power you are looking for, after the Impreza i am guessing you want something quicker ?

Service once a year although oil change required every 3000 miles or sooner, need to check the oil level constantly as used alot in the engines.

You are in Notts i see so the closest expert is Pip in Northwich off the M6 J18, company called WGT engineering 01606 48866, i go there for all my stuff and services and bits and bob\'s  :)

If you wanna have a look around my rx7 please ask as i am in Derby 10 mins away from you, and the pic is of Holly Valance  :god

thanks, how much is it to change oil? not a stupid money is it? or can most mechanics do it? i was thinking about 5k to spend or whould it cost more in the long run, i would like the car pretty standard exterior mods would be nice though

Might be able to get a rebuilt rx for £5K but would most likely be very standard so approx 260bhp @ flywheel.

Oil change you can do yourself nothing major, there is a thread on MRC to follow when going a oil change, just remember its mineral oil we use.

I\'m almost certain Freddy on here has a rx with a rebuilt engine for around that money ? will get him to reply.
