As the title suggests I\'ve finally got a laser alignment done.  The handling before was good but didn\'t give enough feedback and on bumpy roads it wasn\'t much fun as it just wanted to run with all the undulations in the road so it was all over the place.  Here are the setting before the alignment:

Rear:
Camber left -1 22\'     Camber right -1 31\'
Toe left -0.3mm     Toe right +1.1mm
Thrust +0 05\'

Front:
Castor left +6 54\'     Castor right +7 20\'
K.P.I. (Kingpin inclination) left +14 18\'     K.P.I. right +14 33\'
Camber left -0 53\'     Camber right -1 06\'
Toe left +0.5mm     Toe right -0.3mm
Setback -0.7mm

As you can see the toe was all over the place which probably accounted for the all over the place handling on bumpy roads.  Here are the after:

Rear:
Camber left -1 04\'     Camber right -1 00\'
Toe left +0.1mm     Toe right +0.0mm
Thrust -0 00\'

Front:
Castor left +5 40\'     Castor right +5 41\'
K.P.I. (Kingpin inclination) left +14 43\'     K.P.I. right +14 42\'
Camber left -1 21\'     Camber right -1 21\'
Toe left +0.6mm     Toe right +0.6mm
Setback +0.1mm

It now feels fantastic, like a completely different car.  I can now drive on bumpy roads no probs and the car stays true.  Feedback has increased loads and I now have a lot more confidence in the car, it\'s amazing.  I would recommend anyone to get this done as a first mod, it makes such a difference it\'s worth the £120 I paid all day long.  Especially if you are considering changing your suspension if you don\'t think it\'s that good, might be that the alignment is just way out.

Sounds like money well spent :cool

Keep meaning to get the stealth done, goes far too light at the back when doing over 105mph into Craners eek: ;)

Where did you get it done? was it the 4 wheel alignment centre? or somewhere else in Notts?

Cheers,

Paul:)

It was definitely money well spent, makes such a difference.  I got it done at TSL motorsport in Keyworth south of Notts.  They\'ve got all the proper stuff, cost about £120 and they have an open work shop policy so you can stand around and watch whilst they are doing the work, very pleased.

If you get it done there you\'ll have to let me know as we could meet up, I live very near...
