The near side front wheel bearing in my rex is on its way out, Mazda want £150.00 to supply a new one. Is this over the top ??? If so where should I be looking......

Also......the car has a ultra400 digital speed meter installed on the dash, and I didnt get any instructions with it. Any idea what it can do apart from read the speed in MPH and KPH ????

Cheers

I know on the honda Prelude it costs £180 For the rear bearing (But they insist you buy the full hub and no aftermarket bearing suppliers!!)

Could be the same for the Mazda??

Just a comparison, of sorts, maybe, different car hmm not front wheel hmm,  oh well nice to get a reply eh......

I think I\'ve got the same or a similar Speed Meter, if you can fix mine I\'ll tell you how to work it he he.

Seriously, mine has a 0-400m timer, you press this button when stationary and when you\'ve travelled 400m it stops (Qtr mile times wherever youwant!!!)
It also has a timer for lap times.

Mine broke when the battery went flat, if you find a user manual or wiring diagram please let me know.
