im getting a carbon composite propshaft designed for my car as the company has never made one for an fd before they need to know gear ratios for some reason.

does anyone know what the gear ratio\'s are for a standard fd box off the top of their head ? although im eventually going to be using a dog box so not sure wether the ratios are the same on a dog box ?

also the need to know peak torque and rpm figures ? this one i dont know as my engine is still currently in bits. hoping to be around the 600-650 bhp mark at the flywheel. does anyone have a similar powered car that maybe able to give rough figures for the above.

thankyou

Cant believe it,  I only sent TorqueLine an email Monday (no reply yet!)  Was interested in these.

Let us all know what you think.  Where you getting yours made, and if you dont mind, how much?

Hope this helps......

Not sure if this is right - someone please say so.  Think it is from the Auzzie brochure.

1st : 3.343
2nd : 2.015
3rd : 1.391
4th : 1.000
5th : 0.719
Reverse : 3.288
Final Drive : 4.100

Nice one, thank you mate :wave

But please - can someone verify that the above ratios are correct?

barmar

From the 1992 UK brochure the gear ratios are
1st 3.843
2nd 2.015
3rd 1.391
4th 1.000
5th 0.720
Reverse 3.288
Final ratio 4.100

Which is very close Ricco 04

Hope that helps

not yet, sending the prop down in a couple of days but my girlfriend is due to give birth today  :eek  so a new runaround car may have  to come first. even if i cant afford to get it done i\'ll still send the prop down so they can make a prototype, and put it into production so it will be available for sale. i\'ll ask torqueline for some pictures and post them up.

Any further developments on this?  :Thumbs-up
