Savanna round rear light cluster

Would someone mind explaining the availability and difference between the rear light clusters of the 2nd gen?

I\'ve seen the Japanese style extended type which only fits a smaller number plate and I\'ve seen some that seem to accomodate a normal size plate (are these exclusive to a certain model?) Im pretty sure I\'ve seen the smaller style on the cabrio\'s but not sure if its a standard thing?

hi mate the S4 <1989/90 have the square type lights

and the later models that have the facelift (colour coded bump strips) 1990> have the round style lights -

as far as availability goes i managed to find some (cheers grinder) but after searching high and low,

the usa models come with the jap style round lights but there is always some for sale in the states ebay.com

as far as i know the cab lights wont fit the coupe.

grinder how does 50 for the pair sound they are in good nic and have all the bulbs in them i belive, havent opened them up yet to check but all they need is connceting and bolting in. let me know on here mate.
