Driving back from Maccys today with my coke between my legs i realised i really did need a cup holder after i got over excited with my pedals and popped the coke all over my crotch  :rollin

So started looking where i could mount one and have it look decent, then looked at spare din slot, but am i wrong in thinking the din slots are standard sizes on all vehicles?? I thought it was a standard sized rectangle

The reason is i was looking at something like this, but it makes it sounds like thats the only car it would fit whereas i thought din would fit any??

would you not just punch the cup when you change gear sending the liquid roofwards?

I thought that, when in 1,3,5 I don\'t have much room between hand and the dash, definitly don\'t think would have room for a large Mcshake which lets face it cupholders are meant for!.

yeah but you run the risk that you don\'t get back as much McShake as you should. Alternatively drink something they hate. Mine would have to be Pernod....
