well after three years in the making i think im now ready to take the piece of sh1t to its doom in germany.

i finally got the running temp down. now running around in the 70c  or 57c in the morning while its cold before refitting the stat.

i polished it today and did the geometry to fast road spec

here are the pics. i wanted to be perfectly legal so i have had the front plate made with the propper refective backing.

t2rew

i have had two comments on how crap the tail pipes are today so ill be hacking them off after next weekend

t2rew

this is the solousion to the overheating.

t2rew

i layed the intercooler down

this is before and after measurments. ive tried to get a bit racy without killing the tyres.

t2rew

as you may notice the front is tecnically out of spec but is a better set up for track. it has made a big difference to the handling. it is now very predictable. i have had the back out a few times and it just seems to be much more controlable. before you would wait for something to happen and it would suddenly jump out.

roll on friday, germany here i come. ;)

TRex the Ecowarrior - Recycling exhaust gas and using it to create energy. Just doing my bit

i do like the tailpipes on  antnic and trex\'s cars much better than mine. :god  :god  you are both my heros. i made an error while making them so they come out the back faceing down and out, one is lower than the other too. :reallymad

trex if you weren\'t such a light weigh you could find out why its FAST ROAD spec. i suppose as your old egi isnt up to anything other than driving in a straight line it would be best for you to stay at home next weekend and do some knitting or phone all your freinds up and tell both of them how fast your car used to be.  :p

ant, it took age\'s for me to think how i could mount that i,c. you should try it  :cool

jetpilot

Did you get the specs for the suspension set up on line, or has it been done by trial an error. I know there are some specs around for the FD but never seen any for the FC.
