True, anyway I\'m a fine one to talk, I have one of Tim\'s special 1/2 bridgeports and as I\'m still on stock ancillaries (and arguing with the LT10s) I can\'t really comment! I was speaking to Tim earlier and he pointed out that at least it gives me an ide of the potential of my engine now!    :eek

Didn\'t Geoff get to nearly this terminal 2 years ago?, and whats the 122mph terminal all about! It should be alot higher even without good traction, and the car is stripped

1) There was a strong headwind on the day, even Fensports 200mph Corolla could not muster more than 184mph so I was pleased + we beat Geff\'s previous record. Remember its only over 1.25 miles and not a definitive top speed.

2) No traction whatsoever and anyone that says it makes no difference to terminal is totally wrong, think about it in terms of physics. With a good launch the car could do nearer a 130mph terminal I reckon.

3) It IS the highest power recorded on a dyno, if you can do better fine, lets see it recorded otherwise who actually knows.  

All in the spirit of good competition anyway, Matt is a cocky git and we know it  :yes lol

from FC3S.org - The RE Cosmo engine though very similar in design and looks will not drop into your FD without modification. The mounting is totally different than the REW mounting. The ECU and wiring harness are different, as is the manifold bolt alignment.

As far as I\'m aware the RE engine has a different shape to its inlet ports on the plates too. (Feel free to correct)

Best to let Geff or Tim say the difference I dont really know, all I know is the the RE is capable of making more power than the REW.
