Hi i might sound like a total plank here but does anyone know as im sure you do wot the cap is for its to the right hand side of the intercooler i have found the oil cap, power steering fluid, brake fluid, water what the hell is it lol

If it has a sticker saying "Never remove" or words to that effect then it is the Air Separator Tank. Normally, you should leave it alone like it says.

No only the water one says never remove its got some kind of yellowey stuff in it doesn\'t say anything on the actual cap.

no if you take it off it intiates the self destruct mechanism on a 30 second timer.

it is the \'air seperation tank\' linked tothe colling system it bleeds the air fromt he system...

someone blow me over if I am wrong in this...

you top up/ check level of  the cooling system by the cap just above the airpump label..

dont need to touch this other cap unless draining the sytem completely...
