Think it was you I saw today daverey, went past Fleming park and spotted your blue series 1 with the bonnet up. I was in the works van on the way too Eastleigh autocentre with my wife\'s new alloys to have some tyres fitted.

Was gunna give you a toot on the horn, but you would have probably thought who\'s that div in the van . Was also gunna stop on the way back but saw the car was\'nt still there so carried on trucking.

Car looks nice by the way, will look out for you again if I am up that way......cheers Leigh.

   yes it was me. I had just being doing a few touch ups around the front chassis member and respraying the sump guard when I got a face full of oil cooler, the mounting bracket had broken one side and was sat on the sump guard. So a quick bit of sheetmetal work and half a can of hammerite later I just had to go for a drive.  All part of the fun of an old car, glad I decided the sump guard looked rough.
