Where would i fit such items for maximum performance...? :)

Sit in your car, turn the stereo on, then move them about (using tape/bluetack to hold them in place) when you get the sound just right for you, then you have found the best place for em.
You may have to compromise a bit as the perfet place may not be suitable for fitment, buts its probably the best way, and you will be able to tailor the sound to your own liking.

I have mine mounted on the bottom of my a-pillar donato, i did what nixrx7 said......found the bottom of the a-pillar pointing inwards sounded the best!

Cheers,

Dan!!
Turned into the worst part of my life....my precious fd3 has gone, but never forgotten....roll on a new life!!!!

Thanks guys. I know nothing about stereo\'s so im going to fit new speakers all round this weekend  :cool

NixRX7

i always found  infinity components good, as the tweeter comes with a little unit that you can fit it into that swivels about and is easier to mount than just a bare tweeter.

Forgot to mention, if you need any help fitting a stereo and fancy a trip down from Edinburgh to the Borders i will be happy to help you out.

Fitted the speakers and tweeters at the weekend...thanks for the offer mate, might take you up on that the next time, i have an amp sub etc to go in but just havent bothered with it at the mo...

F&M Stand ???? i doubt my RX is up to the quality needed for the show as you really want the best ones on the stand, and my paint is a bit faded here and there.
I plan on getting it re-sprayed at some point once i find someplace who i can trust to do it.
Thanks for the Offer Donato, but i dont want to let the side down by showing mine.

can i ask, whats the standard rex time for 1/4 mile?
