Due to my stock twins having seen better days, I was persuaded in having a HKS TO4R kit fitted.
The car had already had PFC, SMIC,porting, fuel and exhaust and intake mods done.
I was disapointed with the dyno figures. I am now having a Profec Boost controller fitted.
What should I expect rwhp at higher boost levels.
Is there a calculation to say calculate bhp at higher levels when you know it at say .75.

976lb for torque!!! I guess they had been smoking something very strong.... :p

Dependant on your mods you should see 330 - 420r ish rwhp not  the best guess I know, a well sorted single WITH the right mods should see the higher end. Fueling and a free flowing exhaust are paramount though, and the ability to use it :D

Had Boost controller fitted and remapped on Dyno today by WGT.
Mod had major effect on performance.
See attached graph.
Pip at WGT let me watch procedure and explained changes as we went along (would highly recommend WGT to anyone!!).
Although graph doesnt show major peak BHP improvement over stock with mods (as claimed by some owners) the driving experience is a 100% better than the stock twins. The torque in 2nd gear is fantastic (measured at hubs means a 4:1 ratio I think !! equates to peak of 265lbft).

Forgot to say...the two curves represent hi and lo boost settings on controller. Lo boost set to target 0.8 Hi boost set to target 0.9 kg/cm.
Seems to equate to approx 20bhp per .1 of boost.

Thought you might be interested.....

lol yea i did, dont know where he got the T04R from, its a T04E thats been fitted...small single, even the kid who bought the car from him a few months back thought it was the R,it wasnt until i seen a freinds turbo, that i realised it was a lot smaller, when i checked i couldnt believe it lol, thought when i test drove the car..it wasnt as potent as i thought it would be:3gears-rh

Theres deffo a visible difference in size between the two, TO4R is a very good turbo unit whereas the TO4E spools quicker but not massive on power output :mmmm
