hello i am just wondering if you think this is a scam or not i know ebay have a few but i have a car advertised through the loot and i had a reply today here it is what do u guys think.

Hello, Good day to you, i saw your advert on net that state that you want to sell your Mazda MX5 1.6 Auto and am interested in buying it so if you still have it for sale just let me have the pic and its present condition, with the following informations: full name that will be on the check your full adress mobile phone and the last price for it and i will be paying with check, the check will carry an additional money that you will send to my shipping company so that they will come for the pick up after deducting your money from the total amount that will be send to you, so i will be looking to hear from you as soon as possible. Sounds like every other scam to me. Either tell them to get lost, or wind them up over the whole thing.

This does sound like every scam i have read about, i think this type of thing originates from Nigeria?

Basically you get offered a cheque for more than the amount you are asking, with instructions to pay the shipping agent. Then you get asked to pay to release the funds, and youve lost out.

Search on MRC under scams and im sure there are some links to sites that record this type of thing, and normally wind up the scammer.
