Hi everybody, I\'ve had my RX7 Type R for only about 4 months and my story goes somethin like this.........

I drove to work like any other day, car fine as usual and left my car in the car park. Got back to the car, drove about 5 metres and the coolant buzzer goes EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE  shut the engine off immediately and see that the coolant had left a puddle where I had parked it. :(
Anyhoo, get the AA to take me back home and I fill up to the filler neck using around half a litre of water. Next day run the car to see where the water is leaking from and find that it is coming from the top middle and to the top left of the radiator area (looking straight at the car). The expansion tank is fine, hoses are fine. Radiator is taken out, top and bottom of radiator is split, top of radiator had been previously bodged where hose connects :reallymad So radiator is replaced, but it is still leaking from same area (although not as much as before). Stupid question but could it be anything to do with air conditioning condenser?

Any help would be really appreciated! :D

Check your AST and the pressure cap on it.
The filler that is near to the alternator should be a plain cap and the little plastic tank next to the intercooler on stock cars should have the pressure cap on it,they are renowned for needing replacement from time to time and should be a 0.9kg one not a 1.2kg.It also pays to replace your thermostat.

Carl

Cheers for the advice Carl, I\'ll check it over again at the weekend so I can see what i\'m doing.

Nath

check the radiator its self as this was exactly what whas happening on mine , rad ends split and was filling her up with collant twice a day.

Checked it over the weekend, everythings fine now. The coolant that had leaked pre new radiator replacement hadn\'t dried from the fins of the air conditioning condenser and when the fans came on it was blowing the water through it making it look like it was still leaking! ;)
