HI all

A while ago I looked into upgrading my RE-A sleek lights to HID well not HID but H11 as this was RE-A\'s upgrade ay £900 or so.

Had a look on the net & round ebay for hid kits & came across a set on ebay in UK for £235 plus postage. The seller had taken the pics from the site he\'d bought them so took a look at it instead even thou it was in the US.

And what do you know they were almost half the price, so I cut out the middle man as the US seller offered free P&P even with customs they were only £170.

They dont have E13 certs which the ebay ones do now i think he\'s buying direct now.  But they are the same units made by techone

The ballasts & starters are all in one & they did them in H3 which was what I needed.

Well they arrived so yesterday I thought I\'d go fit them.

The plastic bases on the bulbs needed a little shaved off them to fit in the holders & the ring earth on my loom needed changed to a spade. For a stock RX I dont know where you could fit the ballasts but I\'ve fitted mine on the crossmember that the oil cooler bolts onto which is under my lights.

Road tested them tonight & i can say much better than stock RE-A lights, I can actually see the road instead of trying to see it which is handy living out in the back of beyond where there aint street lights.

Just need to go & buy another set or some xenon bulbs as car doesnt look right on full beam with the now useless inner lights which are yellow in comparison.

anyway the guy\'s web addy is //www.hidynamic.com

the UK seller is //www.hid4u.co.uk I think, he\'s hid man or something on ebay
