Cool, I like the RE Amemiya 2002 widebody! Was on my list of possible bodykits before going for the Kazama, you going to keep the camo theme or go for something else?

Keep up the excellent projects, it\'s what makes FDs so interesting!
Cheers

Speaking as someone who knows NOWT about this stuff, I must say that I am in awe(sp) of the work that has/is being done, as shown in this thread.

Ross, (hope you don\'t mind, never met) fan bl**dy tastic  :god  :Thumbs-up  :cool .

Thanks for sharing.

Ian.

Good work Ross, i cant Waite to see it running cant even imagine what your feeling like.

Well done mate it look real nice:)

DRAGON

Got some work done over the weekend, test fitted the engine which allowed me to work out where the final chassis leg braces could go.
So just welded these in. Had to be careful not to get in the way of the Turbo/manifold.
Just about to make the final order for the fuel fittings. But we are way behind schedule, just want to get it out before the end of the year now.

DRAGON

Bit more fiddly to get the engine in now:)

rextreme

looking good. Seems there will be some competition over there soon.

Give those 4wd boys hell.

AtomicRex

Yeah competition sounds good....you now have something to put yourself up against me, as you  requested.

See how your car performs against a race engineered car!

So £1000 wasnt it????

Candy and babies come to mind ;)

bobster

What are the master cylinders you are using... and I guessing you are also losing the power steering?
Mines Black and dirtier than Donatos. But hey, no-one asked for a good clean fight.

DRAGON

I dont usually respond to you Jon, but as your post is more constructive than your usual efforts..
£1000 sounds fine. Actually very interested to see the results.

AtomicRex

Fantastic

Name the circuit and bring some money!

As for not replying to my posts, its a shame, as I only speak the truth...but often it can hurt!

Andy_k

Im not a big fan of yours either Ross, but i have got to say i love what your doing with the Circuit and Street cars.

Personally I think Ross\' engineering skills are more show than technical.  The chassis hasn\'t been thought out using any knowledge of compression and tension mechanics....It looks far more like lets weld a bit of metal here and another bit over there.

But this is good, because I don\'t think the car will have a compliant chassis anymore.  As such, despite the fact your engine will be have more horses, the challenge is set for a circuit....which inherently has corners.  And this is where I believe the car wont work as well you think.

I\'m sure it would murder me on a drag strip; but on a circuit this car, I\'m sure, will be let itself down, but time will tell

Andy_k

AtomicRex how did you learn about chassis?
Make a few mistakes try again make it better? At least hes trying and posting it up for us to see.
