Problems with the speakers

I\'ve got a 2 gen rx-7 cab from america. In the mid console there is a set of buttons for the speakers around the top of the seats. The problems is that the last owner has installed a new cd player and he didn\'t connect the speakers in the seat and does not remember how.

I don\'t know where to start. All I do know is that there is light in the mid console but none of the buttons work.

Any help would be appriciated
