NFU Mutual - only good for rural areas, and won\'t quote for under 25\'s unless there is an existing policy either in your own name or a close relative. (Or you work for them ;) ) Great staff though lol!!

Yes if you have a UK car but if you have a jap import its a slightly different story.

JDM Japanees Domestic Model
All cars were limited to a top speed of 155 mph, pretty sure this was due to wheels and tyres

Kevin

Where ever you got that info from is crap.... a 1992 -93 JDM RX7 has never been 280 bhp.

They only went 280 in 99 when they revised there turbo\'s and the UK cars were 235bhp not 255bhp.

Matt_K

omg.. my type R has 280bhp innit! :D

roflllll..

Kevin

UK Models: 235bhp

Early models upto December 1995 - 255 bhp

Revised 16 bit ecu etc 1996 -1999 - 265bhp

Revised turbo\'s etc 1999 - 2002 - 280bhp

Plus I wouldnt trust a website that couldnt spell Japanese......... "Japanees"?

My fingers don\'t always do what my brain tells it and my spelling is wobbly, I spell everything correctly and the letters wobble all over the place :)

Got the info from Bonsaicars website they are the company that imported the car for me.  Was I miss-informed.  I was told that JDM 92 - 94 type R models had the same power output as the RS 99 - 2001 at 280bhp.

Kevin

Lol, i\'ve seen worse spelling of Japanese.

All JDM RX-7\'s upto 1996 were 255bhp mate.  It was only the 99 onwards that were 280bhp.

They misslead me :( the lots of bad words.

To be honest doesn\'t matter much as its quicker and more powerful than I had expected.  Driven cars with more hp but they didn\'t seen to accelerate as well as the Rx7

Only been out in it once since buying it and got temp insurance for a day (well my mum did) to take it my parents house to go into storage (My house doesn\'t have a garage) and I\'m not going to be insured untill the 24th Oct.  Can\'t wait.
