I haven\'t had mine long, and I was convinced it was down on power; not much quicker than my Alfa twinspark according to my calibrated bum. I suspected an intermittent fault with the boost management of the second turbo. There\'s an approximate guide that it should take ~4-5 seconds 30-70 in third ( that\'s from memory, you might like to do a search to check), mine was taking about 11 Should give you some idea if you are down on performance. For some reason the boost problem sorted itself out (maybe because I was driving it regularly? I\'ve got to get it to a specialist soon to check it out), it\'s now much much quicker than my Alfa, I\'m amazed by how quickly it accelerates in 2nd and 3rd

at times i think my dos boost correctly and it really goes then but other times jsut doesnt seem to have the same rapid acceleration, im gona save up a bit of money and get it fully sorted out, probably gona get:

boost gauge
water temp gauge
Apexi power fc
sort out the manifold and get a new donpipe and de-cat pipe.

I have heard i can get away with a decat pipe on mine becasue it is a 1992 model, is this definatly correct??

Hopefully with this lot done should be running quite well and will get Ross to map the ecu and get it all working best, will prob also get a compression test done to make sure that ok.

hiya mate how much can you do me one for? have been trying to find one for a while, is it for a 1992 model thou? have seen that there are several different Power FCs for different ages

Sweetiewells - Your fine decatting yours from an MOT prospective. I would definetly get an Apexi fitted and mapped if your considering doing this though.

Have you treated the car to a good servicing? Mine\'s being serviced at the moment, I originally thought I had a boost problem, and was worrying about how much money I would need to be spending However, looks like it\'a loose HT lead (discovered when doing a compression check) which meant I was getting boost but no power! My advice; before spending too much money on it, get someone to check out the basics (stands back with asbestos overcoat ready for flaming

about a month after i got the car i took it down to Ross at dragon and had an advanced service to check on the condition of the engine and get it all serviced and make sure its runnnig properly and at that point he diagnosed that a boost tube had a hole which was causing the first turbo not 2 work, so after another few months went back down again and had the tubes replaced, the car then seemed alot quicker and had alot more boost,i was very happy but it seems to have lost performace again so i dont know if theres another tube gone or wot
