I would like to highly recommend TDI.
I have used them and their hub dyno system and found the whole package to be very good.
I prefer the hub dyno, that is my personal opinion. It is an exceptional tool.
Having the discount for members must be a good thing, as must be the fact that MRC will get some advertising in return.
There have been so many direct and indirect adverts from people pushing companies on here in the recent past from people who are not totally upfront about their business\'s that this post is pretty reasonable in comparison.

I have to say that as a mod and a trader I find the posts amussing. Clive, a Vendor, relays a message that can harm his business in the forum, in the interests of the members and not himself, and he recieves agro for his work?
Other members on here hide behind there membership, and pretend that certain a company is so fantastic, and yet has a partnership, vested interest in the company. I find this disceitful and under handed, not at all upfront as Clive has been.
All of a sudden Clive is not allowed a preference, and no one has a mind of their own to decide what they prefer.
Its beyond a joke...............

There is a very simple solution to all this. Unless companies pay for vendorship, they cannot be mentioned.... And that\'s anywhere on the forums.

Hang on thats daft! :D

As a member I appreciated the post by Clive pointing out a company which I would otherwise have been un-aware of. The discount is of course a bonus being a paid up member. At the time I thought that Clive might be shooting himself in the foot as Shy sell a lot of the same parts but he still posted knowing this which I can only say shows his dedication to the members of MRC as opposed to his business profits.

Thanks CLive

Re Honda exhaust, did I not point out that the question was tongue in cheek?. I would not have tryed getting a discount for any bits for mine or my wife\'s car. I also pointed out that this is Mazdarotaryclub and there fore rotary only.

I am and have been a fully paid up member of this club from the near begining. I also fly the flag for Mazdarotary at every opertunity.

I do not wish too be dragged into any bickering over companies on this site. I also appreciate all the hard work put in by all club rep\'s and moderators....Thank you Leigh.

Hi Leigh
Sorry if it offended you, it was just the intention to show that it was a selfless action to get a good deal for mrc members, not involve or point at you personally.
Please accept our apologies and keep flying the flag.

Hi Leigh,

Sorry for making you feel singled out and l would hope you know me well enough to know that would not have been my intention, l literally only used your tongue  in cheek Honda comment as a "for example" and was not meant as personal criticism in any way.

Also your support and loyalty is and always has been totally beyond reproach towards MRC, blimey l wish we had more like you !
All the best Clive

Although i\'m too far away to personally use TDi, i believe this is what a "hands on club" should be all about, selflessness in respect of members.

So i would like to say a big thankyou to Clive who gives an exemplary example of what a club president should be like, continually striving for the betterment of the club and benefits for members, even if it means that it may be to his, or at least his businesess detriment.

Also, a good point to make is that the vendors, and the people who work for them, who between them have a wealth of technical know how always offer and give advice on technical and performance matters "for  free", perhaps saving some of us a trip to a garage, (perhaps the vendors own).

All this is in the Spirit of a GREAT club, of which i am extremely proud to be a member!!

Congrats to Clive and ALL the Vendors for this.

Just my 2p worth
