Ive had my car booked in at a local garage (sleaford) but he has just lost a few guys and has had to cancel. I was really looking forward to getting the boost/turbo issues sorted after a bit of a wait. Now i cant find anyone near and open on saturdays that will touch the rex or at least know what they are doing i wonder if anyone has any ideas? I live in bourne. I know that pip at wgt is probably the best but it would be a 2-3hours driveaway, ive tried TSL but they only do scoobies and nemesis which is a bit too far away also. Graham goode racing said they would have a look and they arent to far away in leicester but are only monday to friday which would mean taking a day off work:mad: help anyone, regards andy.:wave

Saw a 7 the other month at Goodies or was it an 8 i forget now bl00dy short term memory loss. Although they aint the cheapest on scoobs etc although not heard anything bad said about their workmanship. Although If your not getting proper boost then i would advise going to a rotary expert as they\'re more likely to spot the problem straight away & thus cost you less while doing more. At least it\'s a theory ;)
There is Jimmies over Norwich way which i guess would be slightly more local although i would recommend Pip @ WGT as he sorted out my boost issues no problem & i\'ve had nothing but good service from him.

Thanks si, i forgot about jimmies!. And i understand your theory and it does make sense!, I wonder if rotechnics are nearer in Reading, i will make some more calls. Adam, whats up with the car! right were do i start. When you first start it up it makes this funny jingle noise like a rattly loose spinny thing (which points to the turbo) when it warms up it stops   When you are driving it pulls fine up to about 4k rpm then the second turbo doesnt spool up all the time. Then when you ease off it makes that jingle noise again until you aply load. Ive had it up on ramps and it does sound like its coming from the 2nd turbo! but ive been told that it could be an actuator and the jingling is the exhaust pulsing and making it flap and you are hearing it through the turbo, bet your really bored now and wish you hadnt asked. Cheers anyway guys, regards Andy:wave
