HEAT light on &CAT glowing orange !!

Hi.

MORE PROBLEMS!! Any help or advise would be great, checked via the search but only if\'s and maybe\'s and stuff relating to the Power FC.

Just started my 94 Rx7 and the HEAT light (Cat overheat) is staying on and within a couple of minutes at tick over the cat is fricking glowing red hot!! ticking over like a bag of ****e and stalls in the end, blip the throttle and we getting flames.

My 7 is running standard ECU, Titanium cat back, stock cats present, HKS twin filters and HKS BOV thats it.

Nothing as been changed since I parked it up three days ago.

Previously suffering from lumpy tick over, hesitation at anything over half throttle with a little detonation for good measure, but already know I\'m looking at a rebuild and poss need of Power FC.

Now hit me with the bad news!!

Is there any way of boring it out, i.e a straight through. there was a few cat replacment pipes on E-Bay, but now seem to have all gone

Best to buy a decat pipe, u may need a better ecu though to handle it.

before getting decat pipe think carefully about noise i have feed silenced mid pipe and apexi rear and still loud before with full decat made concorde like sound far to ott

Thanks for the info, I was thinking about the noise, mine already sets car alarms off in multistory car parks, I\'m concidering a second hand cat from breakers yard.

I assume its the same cat from 92 onwards? mine being a 1994/L reg
