Does anyone know a way of raising the seat hight in a 1st gen?

I\'m only 5\'7" & my girlfreind is 5\'4" & feel like a joyriding child peering over the steering wheel!

May have to eventually change to a FC or FD for the adjustable steering wheel (& power steering...)

shouldn\'t be too hard to raise the seat, some simple fabrication work to make some nice solid spacers to fit under the seat where it bolts into the floor should do,

I have the opposite problem ! my head hits the roof if I have the seat back too vertical so I have to have it sloped back further than I would really like, was going to fit some bucket seats instead but decided not too.
