Hi all

Ive just been out for a test drive in a 1993 type X today, However i noticed that on the type X i was driving today the suspension seemed a little hard for my likeing (its the standard suspension).

What recommendations / comments do you have about the possibilty of getting the suspension a bit softer but without bottoming the car out and loosing the handleing

Cheers for he Asssist

Andy.

Hi Andy and welcome to MRC,

You will find all these cars a little stiff compaired to a Skyline mainly due to the RX-7 being a lighter car, and no direspect but it\'s a proper sports car and not a GT car thats designed to go around corners .

However I have sold a few members Tein suspension for these cars that not only makes em corner better but they keep yer teeth in as well :)
If you look in the Vedor section you will see an Ad with a discount in place for MRC people.

Hi shy

Hey no offense taken, im actaully an ex RX7 owners, series 2 twin turbo but that was a fair few years ago.

I was wondering about the tein suspension, whats EDFC like, just so that i could easily adjust them.

Cheers for replies

It\'s just a gadget that fits on the top and twists the adjusters for you to stiffen or soffen the dampers for you, just saves you poping the bonnet or the tailgate.
All the best Clive

Will the tein suspension set at it\'s softest level be softer than standard type X suspension? and if so will it still handle OK?
