More progress on the Race car today.
With much chopping I sorted out the rear arches so the new 12x18 wheels now fit.

I now have a new ported, rare as rocking horse poo, genuine 20B Cosmo engine, that has been lightened and balanced.

Huge thanks go to my friend Pip Gardner (PG Auto) who not only knows how to screw these special engines together but also raced one successfully some twenty years ago in an RX-7FC.

Thanks to Pip pulling out all the stops, I will be dropping the engine in the RX-8 tomorrow to then get it up to him for Mapping next Wednesday,then over to Donnington Thursday, then all being well, off to Race the following weekend at the big Super Touring event at Brands.

Cars finally running and mostly mapped "but" my previous Rad cant cope with the bigger engine an we are seeing 110 degrees around the whole system after even a short run so no good for the track! Having a new bigger duel pass rad flown out of Racing Beat USA tonight to arrive Friday then modified on Monday and back in the car. If it works and controls the temps then "hopefully" Brands Friday,
