Anyway, back to the car, sounds like its over fuelling. Jamie recheck the injector wiring by checking colours as I have know a couple of people who do this for a living get the plugs mixed up, firing the secondary's  on tickover !!!!!

So, turned the MAF around and kept in original place.

Ran up to temp, well a third of the way on the temp gauge.

Not revved above 3k but just blipped the throttle ticks over lovely at 1100rpm and about 45psi on tickover.

Slightly blowy exhaust on the slip joints, im hoping the carbon will seal that over time.

Need a diff oil light warning switch as im blinded at 45 psi.

Still 1 fault code, ABS .... who cares.

This sunday connect the speedo micro processor to the CANBUS and all thats left is everything else.

My first car engine rebuild, let alone port work. A friend of mine outside of the car scene congratulated me this eveing and said I was extremely clever. I said no! ive just got good friends.

I wouldnt have been able to do any of this without the help of you guys, so thanks to all on MRC.

There's a guide somewhere , a how to fit a sign adaptor
It mentions blocking one of the breather pipes which go into the accordion so it sucks the 2 stoke through faster

So quick update..... my homemade sump still leaks...... i think it twisted out of shape from the heat of welding, then when ive bolted it to the engine, the block has pulled it straight.

with stainless being more brittle than mild steel I think i have hairline cracks in various places as its made up of about 15 seperate items.

Great idea on paper, but put that one down to experience. I could have tried to make another but i want it on the road now. However, perfect timing, "Emma I want a sump for Chhristmas !"
