Thanks for your comments, Just 5 laps, 2 spins (one due to old tyres/ One due to oil on the track with 14 cars spinning)

18th position finish with 31 finishers, found 3 seconds in the race over qualifying .

But to me the car has no pace against the cars at the sharp end, so I have taken the decision not to race tomorrow and retire the car for the season.

Whilst my engine is perfect, I am going to sell the engine and invest it into a new engine to get more power as 510 BHP is simply not enough compared to the competition I am up against!.

Don't know yet, but there is another reason.

Unfortunately due to a violent spin after a car dropped oil, in total 14 cars spun through Coram!. It has aggravated an old shoulder and torn tendon, which funnily enough happened at Snetterton years ago. This means I have to withdraw from racing for the rest of the year to let it try and heal, but I will be back next year .

Wow your season has been a roller coaster! Hope  with rest your injury can become a distant memory.
Shows the quality of the field you're racing in if 510 horses aren't cutting it!  Onwards and upwards..... look forward to following Christine's next set of upgrades

I managed to watch your race live and saw the carnage at Coram as car after car span on the oil before the red flag came out. Really sorry to hear the incident has aggravated an old injury. I hope it heals with time.

Probably an unpopular question
How much more power do you  think will get you closer up the table ?
I'm looking at the lap times between our cars which is quite a bit , there's also a huge power difference
Personally I think some strong money spent on aero , air displacement etc first then combine with more power later  ?
I'm no aero expert but that seems to be where most are getting their time from upfront ?
I suppose until

We know there's 50-70 bhp left in this engine but I need to think outside the box to compete with the torque of 800bhp Holdens, plus the BMW V10' V8's to be at the sharp end and not buried in the pack.

Although there are plans to improve the rear aero for next year, we are pretty much there front and middle.
