Here's the video from Race 2. Not knowing the GP part of the track I was real careful with the Jags that had a surprising amount of grunt, also being conscious they were having their own race.  Thanks go as always to Philip for the video production.

So pleased the last race went so well. Only 12 minutes and plenty of overtaking practice!

I have said many times about the Yellow (and Blue) thing came from when I worked at Blue Circle
Nice surprise for me was finding this fully restored  Foden that's attending classis car shows the same as I used to work on.

My boss used to order in Yellow and Blue enamel paint from the main coachworks at Beddington for me also I was allowed to keep and work on my cars in the workshop and sometimes I actually did some real work  ;)

Work on the Race Car never stops!

Many thanks to Dave Collins for donating a proper piece of intake hose after the B+Q Alloy ducting hose failed miserably at Brands !  (The silver one below)

Brakes were next on the list after the pads were still wearing at an angle and because the pistons were uneven the brakes were dragging, which would have been slowing me down.
Decided to referb a spare set of callipers and renew the calliper brackets, especially after finding a cracked one!.
Sods law and the first time they have ever made an error, Racingbrake sent the wrong brackets!!

Steve wanted to make a new set as he didn't want me racing with a cracked bracket, but to be fair  to Racingbrake they dispatched the correct ones immediately that they found out and they will be in from America on Tuesday.

Next up was a really really lucky escape that could have meant the end of the car with fire ???

I decided to fit some better heat shielding sleeve on the Turbo drain pipe.

Not sure if it was the extra heat of Brands but up near the Turbo, the silicon had deteriorated and gone to a white powder.
Had this failed and dumped oil, the car would have caught alright in a big big way  >:D   So so Lucky with this one :great:

Next Race is September 17/18 Snetterton (Truck Meeting)

Then October 22/23 Donington

Yep Fire was the last thing I would have needed.
Been there done that one!,

Its how the car got the nickname "Christine", named after the fiery horror film when it tried to burn itself alive at Silverstone a few years back
