Compression testing suffolk

Hi guys it's been a while since I've been on here and haven't had a rotary for some time, but have recently purchased a rx8 and looking for someone who can come out to me and do a compression test or i can borrow it, as I want to rule out failed side seals as its smoking and oil in the breather hose. Am in ipswich. Cheers

Just like any Rotary, if it starts cold and hot OK it may be nothing to do with any sort of compression issue.

If the smoke clears then it could be one of the O ring seals on the sides of the rotors.

Thanks Clive for the information will sort out the ignition system first and have a look at the smoking next, also hoping that maybe he over filled the oil or something.
