In the meantime....

One of my least favourite stock features of the car.

The outer sill, steel member and floor pan bolted together with exposed fasteners

..... nasty

Just a thought and I know it would be a pain as you would need to key the bolts and washers.

How about painting the  bolts, washers and the orange "strip" in a satin black, as this would take your eye off the bolts and the lip ?  .

Ah already tackled that with the cunning use of bespoke side skirts
