Looking good. I'm sure our very own Mister Fibreglass could make you a Rx8 headlight air duct to ram in a little more air in too

Thing is, the Thunder Saloon regs want a proper working headlamp, so I felt this was the best legal solution.
They even state you cant even tint the headlamps !
All the best Clive

I'm sure this is a stupid question, but wouldn't it have been easier to intake via a scoop on the bonnet somehow?

No such thing as a stupid question  ;)

I was desperate to stop any sort of under bonnet heat going into the air filter, so the head lamp solution will solve this.

We got there  :13:

With the water system revamped, Air Filter relocated, plus new Turbo with a slightly different rear wheel so it spooled faster the result was wonderful  :great:

We not only found 60 more BHP than ever, but also its the way it produces power so low down in the rev range.
Huge thanks to Steve for the Machining and Pip for the excellent mapping.

We now Have 510BHP with 353Lbs of Torque  to light the rear wheels up  >:D  A Dyno video will appear over the next couple of days  ;)
All the best Clive

What a great result! Well done to everyone involved.

I'm really looking forward now to seeing how this extra power helps in the races to come.
