Well itoday was the day for Seven to break out of hibernation! Always a little nerve racking after a few months tucked away to avoid the really bad weather but she started on the button - phew!

Water and oil levels were where I left them with only the tire pressures needing a little top up.
Left her running to let everything circulate and get up to temperatures - much to the annoyance of my neighbour ....... and one of my dogs who was growling in doors

Few little jobs to do - I had sourced a break pedal switch stopper to be a little softer than the bolt which had been doing the job over the winter, refitted the fire extinguisher which was cable tide to the rear strut brace but wanted it in the footwear away from my head and sorted a few missing trim fasteners in the quest to stop the squeaking - and she's ready for another year. Hopefully I'll be able to find time to drive her a little more this year!

Next stop will be overhauling the brakes. I have been collecting parts over the winter and now just need to sort out getting them on the car rather than sitting in the house !

Perhaps you should have let the neighbour and the dog out of the car first  ;) :))

Anyway really good looking car, any chance we will see you at either the Retro or Combe events ?
All the best Clive

You can't fit a person AND a dog in a seven......can you.?

Thanks Clive, she's lived a life but I'm enjoying making her mine. She's a bit tidier from the last time you saw her at 7's day @Mazda HQ and still more to do.......which is what it's all about

I can't resist a little carbon bling. I know it's not particularly functional or flame retardant for that matter but I like it

Ok so got reminder that MOT is due so need to get a wiggle on and brakes done + test booked in. A question to the techie gurus - if I'm replacing the brake fluid, how many litres should I order as going to switch up to Motul 5.1??
Thanks in sdvance

A litre will be enough and unless you are going on track you really don't need anything fancy

Next, time to get this little lot out of my house and on the car ......
Should improve the braking and add a little bling in the engine bay. Gonna get the calipers refreshed too for good measure
