Looks like you are still having fun Clive, even though things don't always go as planned.

Try get some dyno videos when you are at pips

Side note, do you know the vest place to source some

NGK R6725-115 spark plugs from? I tried ordering them from summit with some other pieces but they won't ship them over seas

They don't do the 115s, that's what I need for methanol use

Good day at Pips yesterday,
Didn't think it had much go in it. Turns out I lost 60 brake but now sorted.

Showing 464 at the hub, so using the 17% rule this means around 540 at the flywheel  with 363 lbsft of torque at just 6200rpm  :great:

Pulled the diff out today, just got to reset the diff plates in the Kazz as its too tight and inducing understeer.
Once reassembled it will have a 4.7 fitted, which will close the gears up and give it harder acceleration  :)

Just booked a full test day at Brands fot the 27th so I can check I'm now going in the right direction with lap times

re japi

363 torques... Its about 500nm... I actually thought that it has something around 550 range anyhoo, nice result, would love to see dyno sheet about those curves

Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.

Quick update.

Out testing at Brands tomorrow.

Since the last disastrous outing these things below have happened.

Re-map @Pips.
Rear wing made more adjustable and some downforce removed.
Kazz diff removed and pre-load made less as this was causing understeer. (now set the same as the previous Kazz)
4.4 diff Ratio removed and 4.7 ratio fitted.
New gear leaver fitted!

Lastly New Tyres :)

Tony Gilham, owner of Team Hard has helped me with tyres.
The soft option white wall BTCC tyres cost £1400 a set, Tony sorted me out a set that had done just one race last week at Knockhill for just £300 to help  :great:

I have booked to have the car timed all day so hopefully if the changes have worked it will be interesting to see what the times will be.
All the best Clive
