Yes Jon, but they are located by two mills pins so if the alloy expands at a different rate they stay in place.
i think the base of the port was cut to low allowing too much gas to get behind it

Really lucky I still have a car as you will see, one of the two secondary fuel rail pedistalls had fratured, so lucky fuel didn't spray and catch alight
Thanks to Steve who has milled these monster pedastalls these will never break  :great:

Here's a picture of the collapsed front exhaust port insert which would never had been found had there not been the rear housing becoming split around the spark plug hole leaking coolant on the dyno
Ok
Excuse my ignorance
These are inside the exhaust  ports ?
If so
How many more is steve doing for us ?

The pieces Steve machined are brackets for the fuel rails, not a new exhaust port sleeve

I do like the colour on the exhaust port, when I had my scooter we changed the jetting a few times and used the colouring on the spark plug to gauge the afr, a nice light chocolate brown seemed to be the best colour for it running and performing the best. This was a 50cc scooter that could do 80mph down hill and 70mph on the flat easily

Have you inspected the turbos turbine wheel for any damage from the dropped sleeve and also any bits in the Wastegate?

Good day up at Pips

Engine only had about one hour of running on its new housings so compression is no where near one hundred percent yet. Pip left a bit of fuel in at the top end in case the compression gets better, burns a little better and gets a little leaner.

No issues at all on the Dyno but we lost lots of BHP from when it was running at its best, well maybe not lots  ;), 3.8 BHP to be precise  :)).

Yes but its positive trigger as opposed to oldskool neg trigger.
A nice modern digidash would be great. Takes care of all gauges etc and no need to look at them as pre programmed low n high limits to bring on warning lights.
Fuel gauge is direct wired so that can worked out. Engine light on canbus onlything i think needs some thought.
